FollowUps helps you record a conversation, turn it into follow-up tasks, and optionally create Apple Reminders from those tasks. This policy explains what data is sent, who receives it, when it is sent, and how user permission works.

Who receives data

AI processing data is sent to OpenAI through the OpenAI API. FollowUps does not sell your data and does not use your data for advertising or tracking.

When data is sent

Data is sent only after you take action: you start recording, then stop recording, and enable cloud processing permission in the app.

How we use data

Third-party processing

OpenAI processes audio and transcript data so FollowUps can return transcription results and extracted tasks. OpenAI processes this data according to its own policies. You can review OpenAI's privacy information at openai.com/policies/privacy-policy.

Data sharing

Data is shared with OpenAI only to provide transcription and task extraction. Data is shared with Apple Reminders only when you choose to create or update reminders.
